Big Week @ The Clarks

Not only is it Spring Break, which I am thoroughly enjoying, but my little girl rolled over this morning for the first time and my big boy aimed his pee at the toilet at school yesterday.  It is my understanding that pee went everywhere, but he finally got the idea!  It's the little things! Like I said, big week.....big, big week!

3 Months

Lily was 3 months old March 15!  The last three months have been great!  I have enjoyed every second of my time with Lily and was so sad to go back to work.  Lily had a babysitter the first two weeks I was back at work, but will start daycare, with Will, next week. At 3 months, Lily probably weighs between 12 and 13 lbs.  Her hair is really starting to come in, except the bald spot in the back, and is growing like a weed.  Just last week she decided that she would get up once a night for a little snack.  I guess it's time to start her on some food, as I do not like to get up every night.  I want my good little sleeper back!  She is so close to rolling over and loves to sit up and look around.  Lily laughs and coos and smiles all the time.  She really is one of the best babies I have ever seen.  She rarely cries and is so patient with her rambunctious big brother, who loves his "sissy" very much! This pretty pink dress that Lily is in was mine when I was her age!

2nd Birthday

I decided to wait and have Will's 2nd birthday party in April, when the weather would be warmer and his new swing set would be up in the backyard.  On his birthday I had all of our family over for a birthday dinner celebration.  We enjoyed celebrating the life of this sweet boy!
Just waking up!
School Party!  Will got a new book!  His favorite thing.

School Party with Brittney and Christine and Will's friend, Brooks
These were Pat's Tonka trucks that he got on his second birthday.   Will loves them.

Spending some time with Daddy!  Will's favorite thing in the world is to be  tossed!
What little boy doesn't love cupcakes and presents!
Grandparents!

A Family Visit

In mid February my dad's two sisters and one of their childhood friends came for a visit.  We had a great time visiting with them and letting them love all over Will and Lily.  Will and Lily just don't know how good they've got it. They are two lucky kids and I'm one lucky momma.  I love my aunts and wish they would move to Huntsville....hint,hint!

Me, with my aunts.  Do you think I look like the one on the right?

Aunt Hilda

Aunt Irene (imean as Will says) with the dog she brought him.

Baby Boy, You are 2

You are a toddler.  You are so sweet to your baby sister, always wanting to "help".  When I tell you I love you, you say "I wuv you."  It melts your Momma's heart.  You are so active and always on the go.  You never act tired, but will go to bed and nap easily.  You love your stuffed animals and blankets (and you've got a ton).  Your favorite are still your pumpkin and yellow blanket.  You cry if you don't have them to sleep with.  You are still working on getting all of your teeth.  You love to eat...mostly junk!  Bread is your current favorite food.  Your favorite place in the world is outside.  You love your doggies and think it's the funniest thing in the world when Remy chases you around the house or yard.  Anything animal related makes you smile.  You love the water. Whether it's the bath or the swimming pool, you love it.  You are smart.  You know most of your colors.  The best part of your birthday was listening to you saying "Happy Birfday Weeeeel."  When we ask, "how old are you," you answer "two", while holding up both of your index fingers.  You love the IPAD and know how to use it.  It's the one thing that you will sit and look at for an extended period of time.  You definitely know and understand technology...I guess it comes with the times.  Mickey Mouse and Chuggington are your favorite TV shows, even though you won't watch a full episode.  You hold hands with your daddy every night before dinner and pray with us.  You always end with a big "AMEN."  You love your bible class and for that, we are thrilled.  You are in love with your teacher, Brittany, and have lots of good friends.   You don't bite anymore, and for that we are thankful.  You can be protective over your things and your teacher.  We are working on that.  I think being a big brother has helped you!  Your best feature is your eyes.  They are bright blue with the longest eyelashes.  You are tall and solid.   You are beautiful and we love you!

Will, I can not believe you are two!  You have brought more joy to my life than I ever knew was possible.  My heart has doubled since you came along.  I enjoy every minute I get to spend with you.  I pray for you daily and am excited to see what God has in store for your life.  I know you will do great things.  I'll love you forever!
