18 months

Will was 18 months on Sept 1!!!!  Where has the time gone?  I can not believe that this sweet boy has been with us for a year and a half.  I am loving every minute of watching him grow up and couldn't be more happy.  I just wish time would slow down a bit.  Pat took Will in yesterday for his 18 month appointment.  He weighed in at 27 lbs 14 oz and was 33.5 inches tall.  He got 3 different shots which he didn't like one bit.  He's got 8 teeth now, 4 on top and 4 on bottom.  Will is a very good eater, but only wants junk!  Any suggestions on how I can get him to love his veggies????

Last night I decided that it was time for Will to get a hair cut compliments of mom and dad.  Pat held him down while I did the cutting.  You would have thought we were torturing the poor boy.  Needless to say, it isn't the best (or most even) cut, but at least the hair isn't over his ears anymore.

At 18 months, Will is busy, busy!  He loves everything animal related.  He can tell you what the cow, sheep, bird, dog, cat, horse, and tiger say.  He also makes the funniest little face when asked about a fish.  I've got a video of all this that I will try to post.  He is starting to say Amen at the end of his prayers.  The outside is his favorite place on earth, besides the water.  It's amazing to watch his vocabulary form and expand.  He's talking all the time, asking for things by name and not just saying mo, mo (more, more).  He even says please in sign language!  Will watches very little TV.  He's just not that interested, but does love Mickey Mouse Club House (mainly just the song at the beginning).  He dances around every time he hears that song.  Will thinks everything round is a ball.  He threw an apple across the room the other day while yelling ball, ball!  He loves books, especially those with animals in them.  They are the one thing that he will focus on for more than 30 seconds.  He, however, does not like to sit in your lap and soak them up.  He prefers to stand so he can make a quick get away if he needs to!  He knows that there is a baby in mommy's belly, but really has no idea what that means in his life.  I guess he'll find out soon enough.  He's moving to his big boy room next month in order to prepare  for the change.

Below are some pictures of Will at 18 months.  The second one  is of him and the fishy face with his new haircut.
