Orange Beach 2011

Pat and I were able to spend an entire week in Orange Beach back in July.  For me, it was the last week of summer and I enjoyed every minute of my time with Pat and Will!  As you might expect, Will loved the ocean!  I'm convinced he would spend every waking minute in the water if he were allowed.  We enjoyed great meals, great company, and even a trip to the local zoo!  Until next time Orange Beach.....

Family Reunion

Every year Pat's family gets together in the middle of July for a family reunion on Tellico, TN.  This year Pat, Will, and I were able to attend.   We had a great time visiting with aunts, uncles, and cousins that we don't get to see very often.  Will had a fantastic time!  He didn't nap and played all day.   He spent the majority of the day in the water....whether it be the creek or the pool.  When it finally came time to settle in for the night, Will thought our hotel room and king sized bed was the perfect play area.   It was his first stay in a hotel and he loved every minute of it!

21 weeks

We are half way to meeting Baby Clark #2 and we couldn't be more excited. We went in for our ultrasound last week and finally got to see the little guy. I say "guy" becuase I am certain this baby is a boy. I will be shocked if the doctor says "It's a girl" when this one is born! I learned from the ultrasound that the baby weighs 13 oz and was measuring exactly 20 weeks and 3 days (which was exactly how far along I was when we went in for the appointment).  Baby's heartrate was 157 and I have gained 10 lbs. since May 5.  I'm pretty proud of that.  I'm fairly certain I had gained more than that at this point with Will.   Here are some shots of Baby #2. The second set is of his hands and feet.

Water Baby

Will is definitely a water baby!  He is not scared, which, depending on how you look at it, could be a good or bad thing.  He loves the water and would spend everyday in it if he could.   I know next summer he will be swimming on his own.

DC TRIP

Pat and I traveled with my parents and my sister to Washington D.C. in mid June to celebrate my cousin's high school graduation.  We were able to spend time with some family and some great friends!   Two of my college roommates live in the DC area so we were also able to visit with them.  Will met a new friend, Ford.    Ford is my friend Julie's little boy and he is 6 weeks older than Will.   We are sad they live so far away.   This trip marked Will's first time on a plane and first trip to a zoo.    He had a good time at the zoo for the first two hours. It was hot and after two hours Will was tired and sick of the heat.   The plane experience was a different story.   Will didn't scream, which was nice, but he could not sit still and was miserable sharing seats with Pat and me.  I think we'll save our next plane trip for a time when Will is older and  better behaved!

Sixteen

I am 16 weeks pregnant and Will is 16 months old!  I can not believe how fast time is flying by.   Will is starting to say more words and we are understanding him more.   He still has just 6 teeth.  I'm not sure if they will ever come in.   We are working on drinking through a straw, he loves to swim, and is in to everything!!!!

On the baby front, everything looks good.   At 16 weeks, the baby's heart rate was 158.  I have gained 4 pounds and will have my 2nd ultrasound on August 1.  I can find out the sex on that day, but I won't.
